Worth the visit but we had problems with the audio guide so it not could follow the explanations... plus entry enters a tasting of 3 beers and a detail, it took more than 20 minutes to bring us beers and despite the variety of beers that have... in the shop very good attention and number of products you can choose.

On the advice of the many positive reviews on TA visited this museum/brewery just outside the Centre of Salzburg. The Museum is relatively interesting as dwell much on the history of the famous STIEGL beer but in my view it would be just as interesting to see in more detail the process produttivo...in all cases is a visit not to be missed for those who love beer. Included in the price of the entrance there is a small tasting of beer to be consumed in the adjacent Brewery-Restaurant where you can also enjoy fine Austrian cuisine. At the end of the visit, given the time, we opted to stop for dinner and I must say it was a very good choice. Tried the beef to beer, the famous Knodel in different versions ... All great!!! Obviously an ode to beer to try in all its variations! Friendly and fast service, prices in line as they consumed. Recommended!!!

Not to be missed for those who, like us, you beer lover. Visit the historic establishment, tasting (well 3birre to head 0.2 ...), mug, beer can more snacks all included in €10. There is also an excellent restaurant serving typical normal prices. What more can you ask for?

We got the tour and beer tasting for free with our Salzburg cards, which was awesome! The tour is worth doing, and was in English (not sure if they all are or if we just got lucky). The tour uses some multimedia experiences such as a wraparound projector video and some museum-like exhibits, and the female guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and humorous. And the beer is great!

Terrific tour, the English tour was great and the host was very nice and funny. You get a great gift and then a tasting after. I fully recommend doing this.

Very nice brewery and beer garden! There is a lot to see on the tour but we were rushed through pretty fast. I think that the guide though that our group would rather be sampling the beer and ended our tour early.

I enjoyed the museum tour. Both the food and beer were great.

Great place to visit if you have two hours to spare in Salzburg. Good price for a tour that includes three beers to taste and a gift. The tour can be guided or unguided. I decided to go without a guide. The tour is actually very long. It's cool, unique and interesting, but long. Near the end I stopped reading and just looked at stuff because I was ready for beer. The beer was great. The servers were very friendly. The gift shop is fairly priced. Definitely worth checking out.

Where to stay in Salzburg

There’s no better area to stay in the city where Mozart was born than the historical city center, a World Heritage Site. Salzburg's hub offers comfortable accommodations nestled between a rich array of sights. The Salzach River cuts directly through town, dividing the city into east and west. Look for accommodations in the Altstadt, tucked in between the river and the city’s mountain, Monchsberg. For budget-minded travelers, try a centrally located youth hostel or small hotel. If price isn’t an issue, splurge on Austrian luxury in an upscale hotel.
