  • What can I say: go and watch and marvel - not only with child or grandchild - no - alone! If you take the underground car park in the mountain and the output "Getreidegasse" you - in the subsequent ' "Yard" - mind over. It is a pity that so few tourists (and locals) disregard this event

  • Is not very frequent visit a Toy Museum, but we had time and frankly, it began to rain ... we were curious ... and then the entrance fee was included in the Salzburg Card (otherwise it costs (€ 4/adult and € 9/family ticket)) ... and then immersion childish ... and we're in! Very funny (I'll also for adults ...) games with marbles (if I remember correctly at 1° w.), while the children run barefoot and enjoying themselves in the various interactive experiences, as well as old and new toys and role play. Well organized, friendly staff ... I'd recommend it for families with kids in tow (especially age range 2-10 years). Adults have to live it with participatory spirit ... it is a Museum designed for toddlers.

  • Great for young children. Not really suitable for anyone else. Less of a museum and more of a play area with a few displays.
  • Small kids will enjoy the hands-off activities. Older kids will get bored... fast.
  • Fantastic place for small kids ( under 8) ... older kids may like some of the games specially on the basement. May take 2 to there hours.
  • Quite nice. But i have been there 8 years ago and it was better.
  • Great for kids but also for adults. They have 3 floors with lots of activities and toys.

Where to stay in Salzburg

There’s no better area to stay in the city where Mozart was born than the historical city center, a World Heritage Site. Salzburg's hub offers comfortable accommodations nestled between a rich array of sights. The Salzach River cuts directly through town, dividing the city into east and west. Look for accommodations in the Altstadt, tucked in between the river and the city’s mountain, Monchsberg. For budget-minded travelers, try a centrally located youth hostel or small hotel. If price isn’t an issue, splurge on Austrian luxury in an upscale hotel.
