  • It is a doable walk from the cruise terminal to see this famous Garden that was established in 1867. We loved strolling—admission is free-- through the 16 acres. The Gardens are open from May 1st...  more »
  • Beautiful city garden in the downtown area of Halifax. Residents must love having such a lovely Victorian garden to stroll in. Absolutely worth the time to visit.  more »

  • It is really beautiful in the summertime! There is icecream, but the lineup is sometimes long. It doesn't cost any money to go in. Sometimes there are live concerts, which are really nice. If you have the chance, you should go in, and sit down in the beautiful gardens!
  • We live in Dartmouth but we try not to miss any opportunity to visit Public Gardens. His place is like a therapy or meditation. There is just so much positive energy here.
