Snezka, Pec pod Snezkou

Sněžka or Śnieżka (in Czech and Polish respectively, Schneekoppe in German) is a mountain on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland, the most prominent point of the Silesian Ridge in the Krkonoše mountains. At 1,603.3 metres (5,260 ft), its summit is the highest point in the Czech Republic, in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Krkonoše and in the entire Sudetes.

  • We took the ski lift from the Karpacz side all the way up to the top. The view are spectacular and you could easliy spend hours just wandering around. There is a little cafe for refreshments and...  more »
  • If you are athletically inclined, it is really fun to walk the blue route to the top. It is a steep and intensive walk, but the path and views are beautiful. The waiting lines for the gondola both up....  more »
