  • Palace impressive by its size and architecture both outside and inside, superb rooms by their majesty. As for Toulouse Lautrec, discovering a facet rather unknown with the paintings of his youth, painter of dogs and horses, which made me very interested. Then evolution in the world of the red mill always pleasant to look at. Do not fail to appreciate also the works of other painters such as those of Georges de La Tour. Don't forget to visit the gardens with a beautiful view.

  • Outstanding collection of his works and explanation of his development
  • Very interesting and far more comprehensive than I'd anticipated. Startling how beautiful his early landscapes, portraits and animal interpretations (especially of horses) are. The museum - set in Albi's Bishop's Palace - is a marvellous setting, hovering over the river Tarn far below.
