The first magnificent particular hotel building still features its guest courtyard with a sumptuous patterned "calade" and a garden, the two being separated by a gallery used for the exhibition of sculptures. A very honorable collection of canvas from all eras, not all visible at the same time since some rooms have sometimes closed. A beautiful Egyptian collection and... to the department in a painting gallery a magnificent unfinished David...
I liked the museum, even though I'm not a great expert in modern art. I strongly recommend the Flemish section. Plus: the entrance is free.
