This is a must. The cost is worth the trip. The top of The mountains has an awesome view. We were lucky that the queue wasn’t long that day. You can spend about 3-4 hours on the top. more »
One of the best experiences of my life. I got really light headed. The altitude was difficult to take at first, but I got used to it fairly quickly. 5-10 minutes sitting down breathing slowly and I was good. One of my friends who came with got it worse, but he just got off two red eye flights from the USA, so it might have been that too. Needless to say, don't go if you're afraid of heights. Its very expensive, but so worth it. Halfway up there is a nice little cafe and a trail to a cool mountain hike. Weather is unpredictable. Went during the very tail end of the summer season. definitely go then. Not crowded and you get all the time you want at the top. I can't wait to go again.
Highest elevation I have experienced - felt it a little
