  • The glacier is very easily accessible from Chamonix by taking the Bossons cable car. There are still a few meters to walk to see it up close. The glacier has retreated quite a bit. So you can see it from below. The view is superb. FYI the chairlift to access it is included in the price of the multipass Mont Blanc journee. If you leave early in the morning it is possible to combine Midday Needle, Sea of Ice and Bossons Glacier. From the viewpoints we also have a very nice view of the needle of the South.

  • An impressive moment and a place that really deserves to be seen because according to the sign, the glacier keeps shrinking by the melting and there will be nothing more to see so beautiful. You can take the cable cars at 13.50 euros /adult to get there and then a little walking is necessary.
