La Madeleine Reviews
Dall’esterno sembra un tempio greco ma si tratta di una chiesa. Bella fuori e dentro, da non perdere more »From the outside it looks like a Greek temple but it is a church. Beautiful outside and inside, not to be missed
Ce n'est pas forcement à cette église à laquelle on pense rendre visite en premier mais pour autant, malgré l'aspect extérieur assez réussi mais un peu "froid", cet endroit est à voir lors d' une visi... more »It is not necessarily at this church that we think to visit first but for all that, despite the appearance of the exterior quite successful but a little "cold", this place is to be seen during a visit to the neighborhood. A brief but sufficient notice is available to visitors at the entrance. The interior is very well designed and not too loaded as is sometimes the case in other churches including statues and a remarkable pulpit. In short, a relaxing moment to pass for believers or not with, for amateurs, a small stop at the site dedicated to Johnny Halliday rather visited seems it because it is the 49th guest book! On the way out to take a look at the very successful Pushkin café.
Monumental historical building. Too often skipped as unknown, it's absolutely worth a visit. A private parking by the hour is available underground
Once again thanks to Napoleon,in present day this church was designed in its present form as a temple to the glory of his army.Together with the banks of the Sein river,it is protected under UNESCO.Built in 1807 and completed in 1828.At the beginning it was named by Napoleon 'Temple to the Glory of the Great Army.
