  • The Szechenyi bath in Budapest is one of the most beautiful thermal baths we have ever visited. The complex is located on the edge of a large park and also some restaurants can be found here, which is why you should take into account all day long. The spa has 3 outdoor pools and about 12 indoor pools, with different water temperatures and also contents. Despite large crowds, it's really clean and orderly everywhere. The pool landscape is so large and diverse that even with many people, you don't get space fears. The architecture is also impressive and the scenery is noble and beautiful. The changing boxes are in the basement, the terraces in the upper streets are also freely accessible if someone wants to sunbathe mainly. There are two bars outside and a cafe inside where you can also get different hot meals. We spent all day here and had a lot of fun. A visit to Budapest should always be coupled with a spa visit, and this spa is ideal. This is easily accessible by metro and after a short walk through the parkland you are already quickly in front of the spa. Definitely a great experience. A little tip to book the tickets online, then you don't have to wait in the long queue.
