  • The museum shows what ancient agriculture was like in Hungary, when they were still wearing plows and the horse in the field's work. Horse breeding is in evidence, showing the breeds created and what the performance of each type of animal was. Prehistoric houses and their residents were recreated so we could get an idea of how they lived. Various types of birds and animals of the region's fauna are also highlighted. The Castle has beautiful halls with paintings on the ceiling. It is worth knowing a lot that many rooms are closed to the public, including the library.

  • This museum was better than I expected. The location is very nice, the collection is extensive and most of it was also accompanied by information in English and German. The hunting collection is a bit depressing, but this is offset by a neighboring collection stressing preservation and environmental impact, which gives the museum a modern touch.
  • It's a nice museum, bigger than I expected, in a peculiar building. Animals, plants, agricultural utensils, historical pictures, an exhibition about horses. Many captions are in English, too. Some displays look a bit dated and the general atmosphere feels stuffy. Still, it was a nice visit. There's normally a ticket, but if you visit on an Hungarian national holiday then entrance is free. I got to enter without purchasing a ticket by chance on Pentecost day, since there were events and exhibitions to celebrate.
