  • The museum was a fun way to kill an hour, however the lack of information on the dolls means you just look at them all. There’s not much else to do.  more »
  • Hundreds of dolls from different countries, representing not only lifestyles and culture but probably a different story for each of them.  more »

  • It is one of its kind and worth to watch once. It has collection of dolls from different countries and has marvellous collection. Along with different dolls it also exhibits their dressing rituals and variations across year for some places. For India there is a separate section showcasing all the different states. Also it’s entry is at the exit of ITO metro station gate no.4 and no specific parking. Though you can park outside on the road with some local vendors. It is closed on Monday and have a fee of 25/- per adult and 10/- per kid. Refer to the photos please.
  • In a world so obsessed with western culture, not much about Indian art, craft, culture, heritage and history is documented, drafted or exist now. Shankar's museum in a place that stands against all these odds to dignify the work of art of a true Indian, by preserving his work in a form as raw as possible. It is time we Indians rise and open our eyes and learn to appreciate the work of one of our Indian forefathers. This museum stands as a relic to dignify a man who pursued his passion even in the times when the country was going through great turmoil. It stands as an inspiration for all those artists, entrepreneurs, and the youth who wish to make a dent in this universe.
