At the end of the Antholz Valley, centrally located within the Rieserferner Ahrn Nature Park, is the blue-green Lago di Anterselva. The third-largest lake in the mountains of South Tyrol, this calm body of water is surrounded by green meadows. With a surface area of 44 hectares (110 acres), the lake is the perfect size for strolling around on the recently established path. According to local legend, the area that the lake covers was once occupied by three farms, which were subsequently destroyed by a flash flood because the farmers refused to help a poor beggar. • We reached the lake through a path between meadows and woods very nice and the show is unique. Quiet and quiet, not to be missed

  • Beautiful Alpine lake with clarity and really beautiful colors. To get there, you need to travel all the Anterselva Valley, almost to the border with Austria, but it is definitely worth the effort to admire it.
