  • This church that today appears stylistically disharmonious and confused has late medieval origins, having been born in 1464 as a votive chapel to escape pestilence. Expanded in the sixteenth century and later refurbished, it was finally torn down and rebuilt in 1870-71 preserving the only bell tower - not beautiful in truth - which in 1805 had been added to the top a singular but questionable battlement, while at its base a newsagent with a statue of the Bohemian saint John Nepomuceno. The church has neo-Roman forms, with a hut facade divided into two parts by the bell tower itself. The single aisle interior was completely transformed in 1970-71 and, although quite questionable, overall it is quite consistent. Notable is the paintings of the six-seventh century and, above all, the beautiful 16th-century wooden crucifix and, of the century after, the Baroque tabernacle. These are, ultimately, the works that deserve to be seen.

  • Near the Palace of the Magnificent Community, stands this beautiful church, very particular its facade, very beautiful and characteristic, the crenellated tower, we speak of 1464, but modified over time, along with the tower, deserves attention... Travelled with family July 2018.

  • This is the main church of Cavalese. It was built in 1464 at the time of the plague; It was rebuilt in 1871 and adapted to the Vatican's liturgical norms in 1970. Externally it is very characteristic, the steeple resembles a tower of a castle. Internally, Strange but true, it resembles a theatre. Very very quaint and beautiful. To visit.
