  • walking along the embankment is sure to get to this temple. Very beautiful and old. There's a playground nearby. It's beautiful.

  • DA's rectory already forms an impressive view, with the size of the rectory in particular impressing, but perhaps it had other purposes to serve than to house the parish priest along with his family ...

  • The Evangelical Community of Merano was born during the 1950s as part of the flowering of spa care centers in Merano. In 1861, a prayer house was donated with the pastor's house and an evangelical cemetery was created. In 1870 he was called the first pastor, in 1876 he came to the legal constitution of the community. They then added the places of worship of Bolzano (which from 1898 had its own pastor and then became an autonomous community) and Of Arch. The community's expertise extends from the Resia Pass to the northern coast of Lake Garda and reaches to the west the Monte Giovo Pass, including Nalles and the mouth of the Sarca River in Lake Garda reaching the border with the territory of the Community Lutheran In Bolzano. It currently has about 320 registered members. Alongside the Christuskirche of Merano (built between 1883 and 1885) the community also includes the Evangelical Church of the Trinity (Trinitatiskirche) in Arch and the Evangelical Chapel in Solda. During the high season many tourists participate in the cults (in Merano every Sunday normally at 10.00, in Arco from April to October at 10.45). In the winter months, community life is centered on cults for children, women's gatherings, biblical gatherings, choirs. Particularly important are the summer festival at the beginning of September (first Sunday of the month), the Easter Sunday concert and the concerts of the May musical Meranese. The Evangelical Community of Merano is an independent Lutheran community from the end of World War I until 2008. Since 1.5.2008 he is a member of CELI. All activities are in German.
