  • During the visit to the Christmas markets, we used the opportunity to visit the museum. From the outside the room looks small, also because you enter passing through a Souvenir shop and then descending to the basement you will find the entrance of the museum. There is an exposure of photo minerals and heirlooms of the dolomitic area that may please or not (I personally did not like it). What struck me was the movie about what contribution the Dolomites gave during the Great War (the first film that can be selected); The others haven't looked at them since it was late. The film exhibits with a different perspective the conduct of the Great War, with original footage and reconstructions that make much reflect on how the mountain has hindered or contributed to the war. At the end of the film there remained a common consideration: "But how stupid was the human being for having pursued and justified the war". We send this footage to see it in many with the goal that these things never happen again.

  • After going through a shop of souvenirs of all kinds, paying a ticket of 24 euros for the family ticket, you enter this "museum" or better collection of objects that has no attractiveness, with non-existent explanations and a common thread not well defined . Cost exaggerated or better money thrown!

  • Kids loved digging for treasure but the rest is pretty boring for kids. Only worth the money if you want to spend a lot of time reading and watching videos about rocks.
  • Absolutely delightful place. Tells some of the ancient myths and legends of the area, then a little geology with some crystals and gold. Then leads into the more recent history including a very graphic and illuminating video of the Dolomites during the first world war. (More videos if you speak Italian and/or German). There is also a maze of gift shop/cafe on two levels. Mostly Christmas themed souvenirs, but worth a browse all the same. Expect to spend an hour or two here.
