  • It is the oldest textile factory and office building in the city built in the Meiji period by the first asashi of the family family, which is once one of the best landowners and master of the area called The Village of Suketo. It is a valuable modernization heritage that led ashikaga's textile industry by turning to the twisting yarn industry due to the decrease in demand for the southern chirimen of the family business, and gaining great success by advancing directly to overseas to overcome deflation. Many of the old factories that were dismantled, the exterior was built in the warehouse, and a part of the Western-style structure was relocated and renovated, and it is used as a hall building of the community center now. The old office building on the exterior wall of the dark sap green is a memorial hall for displaying textile materials related to the factory, and when you make an offer to the office of the adjacent community center, you can take an inside tour with the guidance of the staff. Because the old office building is preserved as it was at that time, it is a fashionable appreciation object not only for appearance but also for western-style history such as handrail, ceiling lights, and medallions.
