  • According to the history, it is said that it is the god of Mr. Kiyowa Gen. It is said that it begins when Genhachiman Taro Yoshiya recommended Genji's god, Ishishimizu Hachimangu Shrine, from Kyoto, in search of victory by camping in the vicinity at the time of Okuha-de-camp. Since then, it has been a shrine that has been severely protected and prospered by Mr. Ashikaga, Mr. Nagao, and Mr. Tokugawa. The present shrine is rebuilt in the middle of the Edo period, and the colored wood carvings are vivid! In the precincts, there were monuments related to Ashikaga's history, such as the monument of the birthplace of Mr. Gensi Ashikaga, and the monument of the former ruins generals who were the origin of the place name that led to the appearance.

  • It was a small shrine that I stopped in Ashikaga city. In particular, it is not the location of the tourist attraction, but there was a feeling of peace in the grounds with a moist atmosphere.
