Admire the collection of architectural works at The Museum Meiji-mura, an open air museum showcasing Japanese building design from the time the country opened up after centuries of isolation. See the contrast in styles and utility between designs from the Meiji, Taisho, and early Showa periods, noticing the increased influence of Western styles alongside traditional Japanese motifs. More than 60 historical buildings sit on this sprawling site, including places of worship, a post office, and the reconstructed lobby and entrance from Frank Lloyd Wright's Imperial Hotel. • We visited from noon to evening on saturday, when the remaining heat remained. It is a museum in the mountains, but it is also convenient to access by public transportation because there is a bus run from Inuyama Station and Nagoya Station. Many of the buildings in the facility are designated as important cultural properties designated by the state. I could feel the history in both the appearance and introspection, and there was a great place to see ☆ Because there are a lot of various buildings in The Japanese and Western, I did not get tired of visiting. However, when I wanted to see everything, I needed physical strength, energy, and time (^^ ;), As a reference, I visited almost all the buildings in the village, and it took about four hours. It was like a platter of tourist attractions in various parts of Japan, such as churches, railway exhibits, and prison tours, and i was able to enjoy the sights from beginning to end (^^) there were a lot of photography spots, and i was able to take a full picture ☆ some buildings, a fixed time system...

  • It's a little hard to get from Nagoya Station, but there are a lot of historical buildings that are free and have a taste of insta-shine, so the tension rises. The impression that the plan such as kenshin collaboration event is also relatively hard work to do real life game. St. Xavier's Cathedral is pretty amazing. You can rent clothes for Meiji and Taisho, and you can take a walk, so you can take photogenic photography. It seemed to be happy even if i brought the costume by myself and took a picture.

  • The park locate in a great location. The nature is very nice. Amazing setting. Most buildings are fully furnished. Restaurants served good food, no overpriced. I recommend you to choices first then go go go.
  • Great place for adults and children alike. Good variety of architecture. The steam locomotive, streetcar, and bus are all options for travel within the park, and if you think you will use it many times, you should consider getting the unlimited ride pass.
