Nestled on top of Mori Tower, Mori Art Museum offers interesting contemporary art displays coupled with impressive views of the Tokyo skyline. Established in 2003, the stylish gallery with high ceilings and broad windows was designed by New York architect Richard Gluckman. Enjoy the exhibitions by both local and world-famous artists, visit the cafe and giftshop, or take in the extensive vista. The indoor vantage point on the 52nd floor is included in the museum ticket price, while for an additional fee you can take an elevator to the open-air sky deck. Mori Art Museum Reviews

Fantastic exhibits and easy to get to. Stay for a drink in the restaurant after your museum strolling - the views all around are awesome! more »
A wonderful museum with noteworthy exhibitions that change every few months. I most recently saw Catastrophe and the Power of Art, an exhibition that made me both feel and think. I will be coming back for more. If you live here, you might want to look into getting an annual pass for the museum. It gives.yoy access to all exhibitions as well as the Tokyo viewing platform.
Modern art... It's all about how it makes you feel, whether it be happy, sad, confused, distressed, hopeful...etc. some art was cool, and changes based on what is cycling through the gallery... Had a chance to see some original art by Yoko Ono on display and it's... Modern... Some skill from the artist is questionable in my eyes because I was raised to appreciate the physical toiling in stone carvings and practiced brush strokes to simulate reality... Therefore stimulating the appropriate emotional response of respect and praise. Great place to visit to broaden your horizons!
