実際には、巨大水車の回転から得られる動力を、上下に杵を動かす杵つき作業や、石臼を回転させフルイを左右に動かす製粉作業など、様々な作業行程に利用してる様子... more »Without understanding the meaning of the water mill management farmer, "It might be an old private house" is thought to the extent that it visits for the first time on the way of a walk. We paid a 200 yen fee paired with a foster house in Osawa, a few hundred meters away, and toured the inside of the water mill or the huge water mill that gently turned inside the work hut with the guidance of the volunteer guide. In fact, we were able to see the power obtained from the rotation of the giant water wheel, with detailed explanation of how it is used for various work journeys, such as punching work to move the punch up and down, and milling work to rotate the stone mill and move the furui from side to side. It was a great experience to see a complex combination of wooden gears and cams, as well as a tour of the facility where the dynamics were stored. (In fact, only the water wheel is rotating.) The power connection to various gears is held once a year in October, and the water mill, which was built in the five years (1808) of the Edo period, has been selected as a mechanical heritage by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers as the "Former Minegishi Water Mill".
