  • The nearest station is JR Ueno Station and other Keisei Ueno, about 10 minutes on foot Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line Nezu Station 15 minutes. It is from Ueno that it is easy to understand. During the day, you'll be able to visit the zoo and other museums. On Fridays, you can stop by until 9pm (entry until 30 minutes before) after work. It's just that Fridays are pretty crowded. Because I went to the Shosoin exhibition in Heiseikan this time, the photograph is an exhibition of the light-up of the garden and the photographing OK area. By the way, the Shosoin exhibition is being held on November 24th. The items of the shop are also substantial. The ticket on the day is 1,700 yen for adults, 1,100 yen for university students, 700 yen for high school students, and 200 yen for each advance sale, and the art university is also on the immediate side, so if you walk towards Nezu, you can taste the Showa retro feeling. Even if you walk through Ueno Park, it is recommended with shoes that are easy to walk.

  • Recall nice experience and a great chance to learn more about Japan and Asia in general. The different buildings offer different exhibitions and there are many items that should offer something for everyone. The buildings are air conditioned which makes for a great escape from the summer heat. Nice cafe to stop and grab a snack or ice cream. Highly recommended. Lovely walk through the park as well.
  • It was a rainy day which was a perfect time for my visit to the museum. So much to see and lots to photograph, a few pieces were off limits to photo, but being important cultural pieces I understand why. I spent a good half day here and didn't feel bored at all, it was a wonderful trip through Japan's very interesting history. The fact it goes all the way back to Prehistoric times was fantastic.
