  • Christchurch Botanic Gardens have one of the best flowers the city has to got offer. Sunday family and friend lunches are very popular here because there is a lot of grass space. There are many ducks that roam around and often amuses the kiddies. There's also a park and pool for the kids to swim in and definitely during summer and spring it gets super busy but there's plenty of space to fit all. Also there is a tuck shop near the pool side and on the side there is a outdoor cafe which is situated in the best place to enjoy the sun. Also there is a little field going towards the museum and that usually hosts a little music events during the summer. There is plenty of parking but the road to the carpark is quite narrow but definitely a place worth seeing. Very beautiful.
  • In the heart of the city, the botanic gardens are one of my favorite places to go. A well maintained area with lots of interesting plants to see. Don't forget to check of the rose gardens in summer. The Cunningham house would be the place to go if you want to look at a fantastic range of tropical plant. The cafe has a good range of food and drinks available. I enjoy stopping in.
