  • It is a different experience to be surrounded by ice. The bar in itself is filled with ice sculptors. On the other hand, cocktail is average and quite pricey. Nonetheless, it is worth the experience.  more »
  • We were at Magic Ice in Bergen. It's a bit remote if you don't know where it is. From our hotel (Hotel Augustin) it was only 200 m away. Just down the street. Admission is quite expensive - thanks to Bergencard we got the student rate. Small bar room with everything made of ice. Actually a nice idea. You get a poncho and gloves to withstand the -5°C. You're not in it for a long time anyway. You get a drink (included in the entrance) and can take nice photos. The nice staff helps you to take beautiful photos. If you are aware that Norway is very expensive anyway and the money does not hurt you, you should join in. We found it quite funny and varied - just something else.

  • I can go for drinks in Oslo, Norway. The bar is kitschy, but it is a cool experience. Everything inside is made of ice, and there are pretty ice sculptures. The entrance fee is 250 krona and includes rental of the jacket and gloves and a yummy welcome drink made of wine and special berries and served in an ice glass. It gets quit cold In there but you can take a lot of breaks and come out. The music and vibe is pretty cool.
  • Everything inside is made of ice, including glasses with beverages. The humans are real. The bar is very nice, the music is good and if you go with some good friend you might have a great time. There is a beverage on the house, some wine with a strange taste, if i remember is made from some fruits. I recommend!
