  • The reservation is a paradise, one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I spent three days there, sailing by canoe through the river, saw many monkeys, beautiful birds and the porpoises that always appeared to cheer us. The Pacaya Samiria Reserve is a perfect place for those who like untouched nature. Do not expect luxury, the lodgings are simple and rustic, just as I sought. Everyone who works there is attentive and demonstrates deep knowledge of the region. If you can, take the tour with Juanito, a wonderful guide.

  • The words are not enough to describe my stay in this beautiful place. The lodge is a marvel from head to toe. From the arrival, the reception, the attentions of the people, their warmth and kindness mark this stay in a great way. Guides are amazing people with a lot of dominance and knowledge of the place who share you palm-by-span as you roam the jungle. The food is masterful; fresh, with excellent presentation with exquisite flavors that make you round out the great experience. The cabins are amazing and very comfortable. They make you feel at home. It is a place to go clear, relax and enjoy the life that I will not tire of recommending so that more people can enjoy this amazing experience.

  • Great place to go. I was lucky enough to go with a local family. I was able to see the real jungle life. Had fresh fish and fruit. Be sure to bring bug repellent!!!
  • This is a beautiful and fascinating part of the world, especially if you enjoy birds. It is worth visiting not only for the natural wonders and incredibly diverse wildlife, but also for the people! The locals who live in the Amazon are an inspiration, and a reminder that a fulfilling life does not require much modern "stuff."
