Katmandu Park Reviews
We stayed in the hotel late October 2018 (the weather was terrible) The park although fairly small was brilliant for my 4 children. They loved the evening entertainment. Halloween day/night was very..... more »
We were sold this trip by our tour advisor, and had our little one been older it would have been a great day out. Lots to do for kids over 3, but as ours was only 18 months the soft play area he... more »
It's a nice spacious place which you can come and go which I liked about it. Lots of shade on hot days with cooling water fans. Lots of things to do but the only thing which let it down was the constant waiting on the 4D rides.. I think they use the same projector for all of them so it take a very long time between each ride to get in.
This was our second visit to the park but my toddler (now 2 and a half) was a better age to enjoy some of the attractions. We bought the VIP pass with food and drink which I think was really good value and cost about 44 euros and then my toddler was free. The splash park was closed on our last visit but it was open this time. We also purchased a return visit ticket which was 13 euros and then upgraded this to the VIP with food and drink again for the second visit. Starting with the VIP this gave unlimited drinks (soft drinks, water, beer, wine, juice, water and sangria and then 1 option from the snack menu for lunch (burgers, pulled meat, chicken etc). It allowed unlimited access to all of the attractions as some attractions are not included with the standard ticket. On the first day we spend about an hour and a half in the house, went on a couple of the attractions and then spent about an hour and a half in the soft play and an hour and half in the splash pool. When my toddler fell asleep I played a round of mini golf while I waited for him to wake up and we did a similar thing on the second day. I love the park but it's not for everyone. If you are expecting a theme park then you will be disappointed as the rides are mini versions of 4G but overall I got 2 days of drinks and fun for about 65 euros although this was because my tot was free and I think this was up to 3.
