Palau March Museu, Palma de Mallorca

Explore the exquisite rarities of Palau March Museu, which hosts an expansive assortment of art and books acquired by Bartolomé March, a renowned collector and avid bibliophile. View contemporary sculptures, centuries-old nautical maps, artistic book bindings, rare manuscripts, and fine paintings, all set in what was once the March family home. The small private museum is perhaps best known for its elaborate nativity scene from 18th-century Naples. The colorful display, which features over 1,000 hand-painted pieces, fills an entire room. Head to the top of the building for superb views of the city. For Palau March Museu and beyond, use our Palma de Mallorca driving holiday planner to get the most from your Palma de Mallorca vacation.

  • The palace itself is very large, but not all rooms are open for tourists. Visitors are few, and it is very good, you can safely photograph. There are very peculiar interiors. For example, what is depicted in the photo attached to the review is only a wall painting, not a real curtain. I liked the collection of medieval chest boxes and the collection of paintings. On the ground floor of the museum there are about 16 drawings of Dali and one painting of metal. At the entrance (in the courtyard of the museum) all meet birds (see photo), wanting to get drunk from the pond. Admission costs 4.50 euros, I advise you to visit this museum.
