Very nice centre not only to discover art and culture through exhibitions but through directly buying from local artists from the kiosks scattered all around. You can also eat and drink and different outlets in the different floors of the centre. The ground floor have a very nice Thai specialty coffee for coffee lovers. The second floor have a small restaurant with very delicious food and cheap price. This is a seriously weak city gallery. I'd expect a mega city like Bangkok to have some really provocative exhibitions in this space but instead find something that feels like a vanity project. The building is reminiscent of the Guggenheim in New York with the long corkscrewing ramps around a large open space. But where the Guggenheim has art on every level and antechamber galleries hanging off it, this gallery just leads you up to two large rooms at the top. When I went there was some stuff shot on a mobile phone, a mismatched photo collection and a very obtuse collection of writings that honoured other South East Asian countries. There was one nice exhibit called perspectives which had some playful photos in it. I left with the impression that for the size of the gallery & its importance in the city it should have been something much, much better. This place is a great place to spend relaxing, drinking coffee, looking at art and maybe shopping for a bit. The first floor is where the good coffee shops are that serve a nice pour over coffee, while the top floors have nice art exhibitions, and the middle floors have some art shops mixed in between some small art exhibitions. I would definitely recommend this place if you live in the city, or are just visiting looking for something nice to do.

We enjoyed the children's work in the entrance and the variety of the adult art throughout the facility. Nice to see Thailand and Bangkok supporting the creative arts community. The building is impressive and has lots of space. There was a whole floor closed for a new installation, that we missed seeing by a day. Building contains good info on the other arts events in the city.
