Sriracha Tiger Zoo, Chonburi

Bottlefeed a tiger cub or pose with a fully grown tigress at Sriracha Tiger Zoo, a combined zoo and circus. The zoo boasts one of the most successful tiger breeding programs in the world, with over 400 of the majestic beasts in captivity, and provides a rare opportunity to interact with them. The facility's set-up is atypical, with species interspersed in the same areas (where pigs nurse tiger cubs and vice versa). The zoo is small and considered bizarre by some, as it offers various shows where tigers, elephants, and crocodiles perform supernatural tricks. • If you are travelling Thailand then you must visit this zoo. You must watch the crocodile and Tiger show there. They have provided a great training to them and my friends and me really liked it.  more »
  • It is said that the tour participation is double because it was traveling alone, and the taxi round-trip charter is high. So I went from Ekkamai to the long-distance bus and Sriracha Robinson before and after Tuktuk Charter. Because there is a distance from Bangkok, I arrived in Bangkok early in the morning by Air flight, and I left luggage at the hotel and headed to the sea Ratchtaygaroo. It was very hot since we arrived around 11:00. First of all, I took a picture while giving the milk to Kotora, and it was feeling that it was a big cat. Until you take a picture with a big tiger. The staff of two or three people are always on the side, and when I take a photograph, I shorten the range of movement by shortening the collar of the tiger, but am afraid. But I want to take a picture to touch because such an opportunity is not so so, face...

  • Enjoyed the day at the Tiger Zoo. Tiger cubs were awesome. The other shows were quite good. Some shows had commentary in English, some didn't, but we got the gist of what was going on. Park was clean, picturesque and well laid out with easy walking. Only negative for me was the amount of animals in cages - I guess I'm used to seeing animals in free range style enclosures, so concrete and pools enclosures, even though large and roomy, suffer a bit by comparison. Animals all seemed well cared for and happy though.
  • A good place to see Tigers up close and to even take pictures. Kids will definitely love it. Though it seems the animals are heavily sedated to keep them in control. They even have elephants and crocodile. But it looks like they are not going through a good time. If you are animal lovers then this place might not be for you.
