Cortina d'Ampezzo, commonly referred to as Cortina, is a town and comune in the heart of the southern (Dolomitic) Alps in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Venture out of the city with trips to Brunico (Kronplatz, Biblioteca Civica, &more), Charlotte Horse Riding (in Campitello di Fassa) and Val Gardena (in Selva di Val Gardena). There's still lots to do: hit the slopes at Rifugio Lagazuoi, take in the awesome beauty at Tofane, stroll through Scuola sci e snowboard Be Free Cortina, and explore the wide array of goods at La Cooperativa di Cortina.
