An old castle town largely unspoiled during World War II, Kanazawa features well-preserved architecture spread across a range of districts.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Wed): stop by Amanatto Kawamura, then buy something for everyone on your list at Kanazawa Hyakubangai Shopping Center, then head outdoors with Chirihama Nagisa Driveway, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Natadera Temple. On the next day, take in the spiritual surroundings of Shirayama Hime Shrine, steep yourself in history at Kazuemachi Tea House Street, stroll around Kanazawa Castle Park, then examine the collection at D. T. Suzuki Museum, and finally contemplate the long history of Shima.

Kick off your visit on the 10th (Fri): steep yourself in history at Shirakawago, then steep yourself in history at Kanda house, and then make a trip to Ainokura Gassho Community. Here are some ideas for day two: go for a walk through Deai Bridge, take an in-depth tour of Shirakawago Gassho Zukuri Minkaen, steep yourself in history at Nagase house, take a stroll through Gokayama, then contemplate the long history of Suganuma Gassho Community, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Hakusan.
