Banff National Park

Among the world's oldest national parks, Banff National Park serves as a World Heritage-listed mecca for cyclists, hikers, skiers, bird-watchers, mountain climbers, and anyone else with a passion for exploring vast untouched wildernesses.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Sulphur Mountain. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Banff National Park: Canmore (Fireweed Glass Studio & Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park). The adventure continues: stroll through Tunnel Mountain Trail, look for gifts at Rocky Mountain Soap Company, contemplate the waterfront views at Bow Lake, and trek along Lake Agnes.

The largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, sprawling Jasper National Park encompasses more than 10,000 sq km (4,200 sq mi) of largely unspoiled mountain wilderness.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Marmot Basin Ski Area and Skyline Trail. When in Jasper National Park, make a side trip to see Kinkey Lake in Hinton, approximately Hinton away. There's still lots to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Sunwapta Falls, browse the exhibits of Mountain Galleries, explore the activities along Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, and take in the exciting artwork at Jasper Art Gallery.
