You can do a combination of flight and train from Ishigaki to Hiroshima in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or do a combination of flight and ferry. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Ishigaki in April: high temperatures in Hiroshima hover around 22°C and lows are around 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Sun) so you can take a train to Kyoto.
