Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Thu): stroll through Shigakogen Sun Valley Ski Area and then identify plant and animal life at Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park. On your second day here, take a memorable drive along Shiga Kusatsu Kogen Route and then hit the slopes at Shigakogen Yakebitaiyama Ski Area.
