Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Head to Ginza and Kimono Mefor some retail therapy. You'll explore and learn at Edo-Tokyo Museum and Tokyo National Museum. When in Tokyo, make a side trip to see Moroiso Shores in Miura, approximately Miura away. The adventure continues: take a stroll through Odaiba District, shop like a local with Asakusa, admire the natural beauty at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and make a trip to Takeshita Street.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Nara Park are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Museum-lovers will appreciate Kyoto Museum of Crafts and Design and Kyoto International Manga Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Todaiji Temple Cultural Center (in Nara), Dotombori District (in Dotombori) and Muko City Cultural Museum (in Muko). The adventure continues: explore the historical opulence of Nijo Castle, wander the streets of Gion, and steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

The city of Hatsukaichi developed from a small market town, frequented by passing samurais during the Edo period.
On the 18th (Wed), take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Misen, head off the coast to Miyajima, thenenjoy the sand and surf at Mikasahama Beach, and finally stop by Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street.

We've included these beaches for you: Yonaha Maehama Beach and Sunayama Beach. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Yukishio Museum and Miyako Shrine. Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
