Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
On the 2nd (Wed), take a stroll through UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern, take some stellar pictures from The Cathedral of Bern, and then take an in-depth tour of Bernisches Historisches Museum - Einstein Museum. On your second day here, hit the slopes at Maennlichen, then appreciate the views at Lauterbrunnen Village, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Aare Gorge.
