Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, population 245,974 is the second largest Municipality in Sri Lanka, and covers an extent of 2109 hectares. Relax by the water at Kalutara Beach and Katukurunda Beach. Do some cultural sightseeing at Sri Lanka Air Force Museum and Paramadharmawardhanaramaya. Venture out of the city with trips to Kalutara (Dolphin & Whale Watching, Kalutara Bodhiya, &more), Palace Seaside (in Waskaduwa) and Wadduwa (City of Gem Museum & Wadduwa Beach).
