Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Senso-ji Temple and Asakusa. And it doesn't end there: visit Odaiba, kick back and relax at Odaiba Kaihin Koen (Odaiba Seaside Park), and wander the streets of Ginza.

Cleveland, USA to Tokyo is an approximately 19- hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, bus, and flight; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference when traveling from Cleveland to Tokyo is 14 hours. Traveling from Cleveland in February, things will get somewhat warmer in Tokyo: highs are around 51°F and lows about 36°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sat) so you can take a train to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Dotombori and Fuuka-Kimono. Do some cultural sightseeing at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Sanjusangendo Temple. Venture out of the city with trips to Hakodateyama Ski Park (in Takashima) and Arima Onsen (in Kobe). There's much more to do: step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, wander the streets of Gion, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Tofuku-ji Temple.

Take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or drive. February in Kyoto sees daily highs of 49°F and lows of 35°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Ise.

A spiritual center of Shintoism, Ise stands as a traditional city where visitors can see the roots of Japanese culture in a number of well-preserved natural and historic sites.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Wed): contemplate the waterfront views at Goza Beach, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Saminaga Shrine, then contemplate the long history of Izawanomiya, then contemplate the long history of Aramatsurinomiya, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Ise Grand Shrine. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the awesome beauty at Yokoyama, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Takinomiya, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Ise Shrine Geku.

You can drive from Kyoto to Ise in 2 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Kyoto in February, expect somewhat warmer with lows of 43°F in Ise. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Thu) so you can travel to Miyakojima.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
On the 28th (Fri), take in the spiritual surroundings of Miyako Shrine, enjoy the sand and surf at Sunayama Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Yonaha Maehama Beach. On the 29th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: visit a coastal fixture at Higashi Hennazaki Lighthouse, make a trip to East Henna Cape, and then explore the gorgeous colors at Yabiji.

You can do a combination of train and flight from Ise to Miyakojima in 5.5 hours. Traveling from Ise in February, you will find days in Miyakojima are much warmer (69°F), and nights are a bit warmer (61°F). Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel to Ishigaki.
