Fly from Dunedin to Rotorua in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of bus and flight. In February, daily temperatures in Rotorua can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Auckland.

The largest and most populous city in New Zealand, Auckland combines a rich history and thriving contemporary culture in an abundance of museums, art galleries, and performance venues.
On the 14th (Fri), look for all kinds of wild species at Tiritiri Matangi Visitor Centre, explore the landscape on two wheels at Nelson Street Cycleway, and then don't miss a visit to Sky Tower. On the next day, take a memorable drive along Arataki Visitor Centre, then get interesting insight from Tours, and then kick back and relax at Cheltenham Beach.
