The 2013 European "Capital of Culture," Marseille is the largest port city on the breezy Mediterranean coast and the second largest city in France.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sun): trek along Sentier Littoral, make a trip to Calanque de Port d'Alon, then make a trip to Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Garde, then get outside with Cape Canaille, and finally make a trip to Belvedere de Sugiton.
