The southernmost city on the island, Galle combines colonial-era history with a tropical feel and climate.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Galle Fort and Dutch Reformed Church. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Orchid House and Stick No Bills Poster Gallery. Go for a jaunt from Galle to Mirissa to see Dolphin & Whale Watching about 52 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: stop by Vyanni, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Mary's Church, and kick back and relax at Jungle Beach.
