Tsakhkadzor serves as a mountain retreat for the well-off Armenians, offering pristine ski slopes throughout the winter season and plenty of fresh air and a refuge from the heat in the spring and summer.
On the 18th (Wed), take in the spiritual surroundings of Kecharis Monastery, get engrossed in the history at Memorial Museum of Orbeli Brothers, pause for some photo ops at Monument to the Heroes of the Film Mimino, then explore the activities along Lake Parz, and finally see the interesting displays at Museum of Folk Art (Sharambeyan Centre of Popular Creation in Dilijan). Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 19th (Thu): don't miss a visit to Monastery Sevanavank, then pause for some photo ops at Leonid Yengibarov Monument, and then hit the slopes at Ski Resort Tsakhkadzor.

If you are flying in from India, the closest major aiport is Zvartnots International Airport. In March, plan for daily highs up to 16°C, and evening lows to 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
