Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Appreciate the collections at Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of Natural History and Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Yanaka District and Kiddy Land Harajuku. The adventure continues: take in the spiritual surroundings of Ikegami Hommon-ji Temple and wander the streets of Takeshita Street.

Singapore, Singapore to Tokyo is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone changes from Singapore Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. In November, Tokyo is much colder than Singapore - with highs of °C and lows of °C. Stone Church has been added to your itinerary. Shop till you drop at Harunire Terrace and Karuizawa prince shopping plaza. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Kyukaruizawa Ginza-dori and Karuizawa Union Church. Change things up with a short trip to Gunma Natural Museum in Tomioka (about 54 minutes away). There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of Shiraito Falls and stroll around Yukawa Furusato Park.

Near the confluence of the Chikuma and Sai rivers, Nagano combines historic sites with nearby forested alps dotted with shrines.
Togakushi Folk Museum Togakushi Ninja Museum and Nagano Olympic Museum will appeal to museum buffs. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Yawataya Isogoro Honten and Matsushiro. Get out of town with these interesting Nagano side-trips: Tanaka Honke Museum (in Suzaka), Ehonto Kinomi Museum (in Tokamachi) and Obuse Winery (in Obuse-machi).
