Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, about 30 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, have some family-friendly fun at Owl cafe Akiba Fukurou, admire the landmark architecture of Tokyo Tower, and wander the streets of Odaiba.

The city of Shima has long been associated with pearl farming and cultivation, though holidaymakers have found plenty of other reasons to visit this coastal area in recent years.
Get out of town with these interesting Shima side-trips: Ise (Ise Grand Shrine, Okage Yokocho, &more) and Toba Aquarium (in Toba).
