The capital and largest city of Niger, Niamey serves as an administrative, cultural, and economic center on the Niger River.
Venture out of the city with trips to Koure (Koure Giraffe Reserve & Koure Reserve). The adventure continues: explore the galleries of National Museum of Niger (Musee National du Niger), browse the eclectic array of goods at Grand Marche, take in the spiritual surroundings of Mosquee Cite Caisse, and explore and take pictures at Ferme Youyou.

Zinder, formerly also spelled Sinder, is the second largest city in Niger, with a population of 170,574 ; by 2005 its population was estimated to be over 200,000. Zinder is known for historic sites and museums. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: explore the ancient world of Sultan's Palace, stop by Birni Quarter, browse the exhibits of Residence of Heinrich Barth, and make a trip to Grande Marche.
