One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changgyeonggung Palace. Get some historical perspective at Gwanghwamun Gate and Cheonggyecheon Stream. Step out of Seoul to go to Chuncheon and see Nami Island, which is approximately 1h 40 min away. And it doesn't end there: take an in-depth tour of National Museum of Korea, shop like a local with Myeongdong Shopping Street, admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, and explore the wealth of natural beauty at Bukhansan National Park.
