Tyrol's capital and one of the nation's wealthiest cities, Trento serves as the commercial and cultural center of the region.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Santuario Basilica Madonna della Corona and Cattedrale di San Vigilio. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Castel Beseno and Malga Fane. Get out of town with these interesting Trento side-trips: Castle Tyrol South Tyrolean Museum of Culture and Provincial History (in Tirolo / Dorf Tirol), Alpe di Siusi - Seiser Alm Bahn (in Alpe di Siusi) and Obereggen - Ski Center Latemar (in Obereggen). There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Doss Trento, see the interesting displays at Museo Diocesano Tridentino, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santa Maria Maggiore, and fly down the slopes at Area Sciistica Racines-Giovo.

For more things to do, ratings, photos, and other tourist information, you can read our Trento day trip planning tool.

Oslo, Norway to Trento is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train. Traveling from Oslo in November, things will get a bit warmer in Trento: highs are around 14°C and lows about 3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 18th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
