The capital of Vietnam, Hanoi has bounded back from the effects of war, and today serves as a bustling commercial and cultural hub bursting at the seams.
Appreciate the collections at Vietnamese Women's Museum and Hanoi Flag Tower. Shop till you drop at Tired City Bao Khanh and A Dong Art Gallery. There's much more to do: wander the streets of Old Quarter, steep yourself in history at Temple of Literature & National University, explore the activities along Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake), and examine the collection at Hanoi Police Museum.

Step off the beaten path and head to Art in Paradise Pattaya and Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara (Loha Prasat). You'll get in some beach time at Jomtien Beach and Pattaya Beach. In February in Bangkok, expect temperatures between °C during the day and °C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
