Erbil ©
The capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, Erbil occupies perhaps the longest-inhabited land in the world, with the earliest human settlement here possibly dating back to 5000 BCE.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Erbil: Kirkuk (Kirkuk Citadel & Bawa Gurgur Park). And it doesn't end there: stroll around Sami Abdulrahman Park, admire the sheer force of Gali Ali Bag, browse the different shops at Majidi Mall, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Jalil Khayat and his Children's Mosque.

Plan my Erbil trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Sydney, Australia to Erbil is an approximately 28- hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) to Arabian Standard Time (AST) is minus 7 hours. When traveling from Sydney in September, plan for much hotter days and somewhat warmer nights in Erbil: temperatures range from 43°C by day to 26°C at night. On the 18th (Wed), you're off to Duhok.
