Get a sense of the local culture at International Center Mary of Nazareth and Old City of Jerusalem. For shopping fun, head to Levantine Gallery or Mahane Yehuda Market. Get out of town with these interesting Jerusalem side-trips: Nazareth (Nazareth Village & The Church of the Annunciation), Tel Aviv (Neve Tzedek, The Russian Orthodox Church, &more) and Jaffa Old City (in Jaffa). There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Yad Vashem - The World Holocaust Remembrance Center, make a trip to Jewish Quarter, take in the spiritual surroundings of The Jerusalem Archaeological Park, and steep yourself in history at Western Wall.
